| Background | The International Urban Cooperation programme will establish cooperation on a mutual benefit basis with key EU partners in three fields: sustainable urban development; climate change through sustainable energy; and regional innovation systems. The action will draw upon cooperation models and policy experience established under EU urban programmes and the Covenant of Mayors. The Programme Support Unit is responsible for coordination, networking and general technical support. |
