As part of the Framework contract SIEA 2018 (Lot2 Infrastructure, sustainable growth and jobs), PROSPECT C&S, along with one of the consortium partners, has been awarded a new assignment “Regional Assessment of Solid Waste Management in the Caribbean”.

The overall objective is to provide technical assistance to CARIFORUM and to the EU Delegation, in the identification of opportunities for policy development and implementation of innovative technical interventions to improve solid waste management systems in selected Caribbean countries, paving the way for future circular economy investments in the region.

The outcome of this work will guide the development of targeted national and regional level demonstration actions that will be funded under the 11^th EDF (European Development Fund).

A team of two experts is going to assess and define opportunities for actions in solid waste management in the Caribbean. The assignment started in September 2020.
